I am posting this report in hopes that the American people will read it and educate themselves about the policies of their government. Climate change is a threat so extreme that the human species could go extinct or be reduced by billions in a relative short time. The Trump administration has acknowledged, in this report, that climate change is real and that the planet may warm 7 degrees Fahrenheit by 2100. This increase in global average temperature will cause massive destruction and large-scale crop failure. Crop failure throughout the history of civilization has caused great civilizations, like the Mayans, to collapse. Although we could, with today’s technology, prevent a total collapse of civilization, we must act now. Do not be delusional and think this will not happen in your life time. It is happening now in different parts of the world. Currently there is major crop destruction in North Carolina because of hurricane Florence. Europe had a major heat wave that resulted in major crop failure in Germany and other European countries. The crop failures in Germany are so large that hundreds of German farms will go out of business if the German government doesn’t step in and provide financial relief.
The future of your children and grandchildren depends on you educating yourself about the facts of United States policies and to act in a determine proactive way. Climate change is the frog in warm water and the heat has been turned up and we are the frogs. The choice is yours.
